All is done for now
Lights begin to fail
Miserable sun
Draws another trail
Thousand years of work
Nothing is fulfilled
Project terminates
By Creator's will
One sudden noise
Can bring the nonsense back:
The Temple, The Weapon, The Mistake
God took some rest,
Then wiped his forehead
Then took the knife for heaven sake

I would classify Myridian as Viking Metal; in the same vein as Amon Amarth. However, while AA may have hit the proverbial wall, Myridian is still growing as evidenced by their latest offering. Additionally, AA is not (and, quite frankly, never was) able/inclined to perform with the passion/range of Myridian. New to this album is a high/low register of growls, tighter songs/instrumentation, and a whole new emotive response via the listening experience. Buy it+25% of the low asking price! 5 stars! I am a sucker for a bloody good melody - for a tune that plays to my soul and growls that fit nicely over the top. Evadne have really got something here that works beautifully. This has been the only genre of music that has sung directly to me for over five years now and Evadne is the perfect example of what I love the most. Andy
